Acer Liquid E Android 2.2 Phone Review

Today almost everyone wants to get their hands on an Android device, and why not? The entire OS has taken a huge step forward in the overall market share and although the OS may not be as catchy as Apples iOS, I’m sure the gap’s not as huge as it seems.

I’ve used a couple of Android smart phones such as the Xperia X10 mini, the Google Nexus One and thoroughly enjoyed my time with the Google Nexus One – it was simply an amazing Android phone to begin with ;)

However, that was 2 years ago and since then I’ve moved to the iPhone 3GS and then to the iPhone 4 – which is an almighty phone on the whole. Recently, my colleague came to me and said “Hey Jude, I’ve a new Android phone” and I was like wow. The sight of an Android phone after 2 years felt good. I immediately went over to get a glimpse and there lay the Acer Liquid E Android phone. I know this phone’s more than a year old now, but decided to go ahead with this review because I was simply getting my hands on an Android powered Phone after an age.

At first sight it looked rock solid. I picked it up immediately to give it a good look and feel and more importantly play around with it ;) Well to be true, the Acer Liquid E Android Phone not only looked good but also felt solid. I felt I was holding a pebble in my hand and obviously not wanting to throw it at someone :D The layout of the Acer Liquid E Android Phone was a bit different. The power button was located on the left hand side bottom portion of the phone, which seemed strange to me, as I don’t really remember a phone that was powered from a button located on its side :D

Nonetheless, let’s now dive straight in to the Acer Liquid E Android Phone Review.  The Acer Liquid E specs where pretty impressive to begin with. It has a pretty decent 3.5inch display screen that’s 256K color rich. The Acer Liquid E Android screen is huge and those with fat/thick fingers need not worry too much ;) The best part is that the Acer Liquid E Froyo 2.2 updates gives users the benefit of flash support; something that gives this phone that extra edge over its competitors.

As mentioned earlier, the Acer Liquid E specs weren’t a letdown. Its 768 MHz Scorpion processor combined with 512MB RAM and a 512MB ROM, gets the best out of the Acer Liquid E 2.2 phone. Navigating between menus was fine, and applications sprung up pretty quickly. Although, this didn’t seem as smooth as the 1GHZ Snapdraggon processor, it’s pretty cool as it falls in the budget of many and still does the job well. Read more…

BlackBerry Curve 8320 Keyboard Backlight Issue Fix

The Impact Of The BlackBerry Curve 8320

Announced way back in 2007, September, the BlackBerry curve 8320 is still very much in demand and is regarded as one of the best BlackBerry phones to have been manufactured. Offering the best flexibility with its 2.5 inch display screen, the curve 8320 trackball simply made scrolling very easy. Although the curve 8320 trackball did give in at times and more often due to rough handling, the blackberry 8320 trackball replacement service was covered under the phones warranty policy – something that allowed all curve 8320 users to get their trackball replace without any additional charge, and the curve 8320 trackball didn’t cost much anyways for those who were out of warranty.

However, one issue that gripped the curve 8320 was the curve 8320 keyboard backlight issue. Firstly, all of us here reading this article are fully aware that the curve 8320 keyboard backlight is triggered with the help of the curve 8320 light sensor that’s located on the top right hand side corner of the phone.
